26.2 miles + 10 years
In 2013 I ran the London Marathon. I actually ran it in barefoot running shoes... which was a mistake.
Here we are in 2023, 10 years on, and I want to see if I still have a marathon left in me.
I'm an on again, off again runner, and I haven't ran in a long time, so I'm using a "Couch to Marathon" training plan. I will update in green all the runs I complete, or you can follow me on Strava.
To keep myself motivated and on track, I've taken the dates that the plan has me running a half marathon, and a full marathon, and signed up for races on those days.
So I will be running a half marathon in Richmond Park on 12th March 2023 and a full marathon in Leeds on 14th May 2023.
This time I will wear more sensible running shoes!
